Horseback Riding and Tubing

After meeting your guide at our adventure center you will be driven to the Colorado River which hosts the best and funniest 4 km (2.5 miles) of river tubing you have ever experienced.

The raft consists of more than a dozen rapids and the opportunity to try out the adrenaline kick of the nine-foot “twister” waterfall. Once inside of the impressive river canyon, you will enjoy some breaks floating across natural swimming pools and passing by pre-Columbian indigenous caves. You will also be amazed by the beautiful scenery offered by the surrounding tropical forest and maybe spot some wildlife like howler monkeys and different species of waterbirds.

Once back at our adventure center, you will receive safety instructions about how to ride your horse and you will begin a two-hour horseback ride, where you will live the experience of the countryside riding trails across the forest until you reach a special spot at the Rio Blanco where you will swim in its unique volcanic turquoise waters.

Wow, what an adventure! From start to finish, this tour was filled with excitement, adrenaline and breathtaking views. The river tubing on the Rio Colorado was an absolute blast - but definitely not for the faint of heart!

And the scenery! The tropical forest was just breathtaking, like something out of a movie. And spotting those howler monkeys? Total highlight!

The whole experience was expertly organized, and the guides were knowledgeable and friendly, making sure we felt safe every step of the way. Overall, this tour exceeded all expectations. Thank you for managing my tours and coordinating all the services for me. I loved the zip-lining part, it was so exciting and the experience of seeing the trees around you during the cables, was amazing.

The tubing was refreshing and funny, it was excited to feel the water during the rapids, and see the canyon and nature along the tour.

The horseback ride was very nice, it was my first time riding a horse, and was terrific, I will do it again.

All the activities are perfect for families and every person who looks for some adventure in this area. They are safe and they have the perfect equipment for those activities.

The entire trip is beautiful and very fun. You get to drive to the most beautiful deserted beach of Costa Rica on a old Jeep and on the way there you learn about Costa Rica history and meet a lot of undisturbed wild life within a range of nature environments.

Adrian (the guide) is very knowledgeable and passionate about the region and wildlife, and makes sure you feel welcome and comfortable during the entire day.
This was definitely the most fun tour we did in Costa Rica, and we would definitely recommend it.
