PAYMENT POLICY

GuanacasteHeritageTours.com accepts all major credit cards, international money orders, and cash. Please note that if a debit or check card is used by the client, we are not responsible for any overdraft fees or other charges that may be imposed by your bank. All prices are quoted in US Dollars and are based on the exchange rates at the time of purchase. According to industry standards, published prices are per person. Please be aware that all prices are subject to change without notice until full payment is received.

CANCELLATIONS

If you need to cancel your reservation, please submit your request in writing to GuanacasteHeritageTours.com at least 48 hours before your scheduled departure. Cancellations made within this timeframe will incur a minimum administrative fee of $25 per person, in addition to any applicable cancellation fees from our suppliers. Please note that some services booked for special occasions, such as New Year's Eve or Easter Week, are non-refundable. Different cancellation penalties may apply during holiday periods and special events, including carnivals and festivals. We highly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance to cover any potential cancellation fees.

REFUNDS

Any claims for refunds must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the original service date. All negotiable vouchers or tickets must accompany the claim. Refunds will not be issued for services that travelers choose not to participate in. Additionally, no refunds will be granted for missing transfers, sightseeing tours, hotel reservations, or any other pre-booked services due to changes or delays in airline schedules. 

If any service issues arise that affect the quality of the services, they must be addressed directly with management on-site at the time the issue occurs, as refunds cannot be provided for such inconveniences. Please note that no guarantees or warranties, either express or implied, are made that the booked services will meet all of the traveler's expectations.

NOT INCLUDED

Additional expenses such as laundry, alcoholic beverages, meals (except as indicated in tour descriptions) or items of a personal nature.

Tips and gratuities of any kind.

Some entrance fees to National Parks, Museums, and Attractions may not be included and must be collected in cash on location.

RESPONSIBILITY

GuanacasteHeritageTours.com acts solely as the agent for travelers regarding transportation, whether by air, rail, automobile, bus, van, plane, boat, or any other means. The company assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity that may occur due to vehicle defects, acts of God, war, riots, or any company or individual involved in transporting passengers or organizing the tour. All rates published in any format are based on current exchange rates and tariffs and are subject to change. GuanacasteHeritageTours.com reserves the right to adjust or modify its terms and conditions policy without prior notice.

CHOICE OF LAW AND VENUE:

All legal questions in any action relating to a claim of breach of this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica as they exist at the time of the action. Any action brought by either party based on a claim arising from this contract or related to the booked services it encompasses must be filed in a court of competent jurisdiction.
